If you are a true jetsetter you'll be in town Thursday, August 19 for the Tiki Oasis pre-party! Thursday night - Don't miss dinner on the bay at the historical Bali Hai on Shelter Island. Then head downstairs for a full night of partying.
Friday and Saturday you'll explore The Islands restaurant and Hanalei Hotel (now named Crowne Plaza San Diego). Amid waterfalls, lava rock pools and 8-story glass elevators you will find classic Tikis featured in Sven Kirsten's The Book of Tiki. After a full three nights of anniversary celebrations you'll want to spend a full day just shopping, swimming in the pool, and relaxing in the jacuzzi before you catch the Sunday night red-eye. Better yet, stay the night Sunday and arrive home fully relaxed on Monday!
To ensure you enjoy your stay, the hotel has a variety of dining choices: Room Service is available from 6 AM – 10 PM - Have a private breakfast in bed before stepping out for a day at the pool, or order lunch and drinks poolside with friends. Grab a latte at the Kona Café coffee bar starting at 5:30 AM, or gorge yourself on Sunday at The Islands breakfast buffet from 6 AM - 10 AM. Eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner at The Islands restaurant overlooking the pool and stage area. For dinner or late night snacks enjoy some of San Diego’s best sushi in the Islands bar from 5 PM to 1 AM.

Tiki Oasis Private Shuttle Service
Wanna get from the airport to the hotel fast and with friends? Wanna go out to eat but too drunk to drive? Need a lift to the Bali Hai on Thursday night for you and your 10 friends? No problem. Reservations are highly recommended but not required. The shuttles will be at the Crowne Plaza and Kings Inn during main event hours and on call 24/7.
These are not free shuttles. They work just like a cab or an airport shuttle.

Crowne Plaza Room Types
Set amidst tropical palms, lush, inviting gardens, and waterfalls that plunge into Koi ponds, the Crowne Plaza Hotel (formerly the Hanalei Hotel) has rooms to fit all your Tiki Oasis vacation needs. Choices include: Deluxe King, Double Queen, and Standard King (aka Poolside Rooms). Tower Suites are also available with one-room or two-room options.
Check-In begins at 4 PM. Check-Out time is 2 PM. Complimentary luggage storage is provided for guests arriving prior or staying after those times.
Whether you are partying all night or hitting the sack early, Tiki Oasis has a room for you!
In order to tailor your Tiki Oasis experience to your needs we have defined different areas of the hotel. The Room Area map will assist you in deciding where you would like your room to be located in order to meet your needs. To request one of the five room areas below you will need to type the name into the Special Request comment box at the end of Step 2 when booking your room online. Although there is absolutely no guarantee that requesting any one specific room or room area will result in that room being available for you at time of check in, we will make every effort to accommodate all requests.

Pool View & Stage ViewThese rooms are offered at a slightly higher rate due to their desirable location. These rooms are on the south side of the Tiki Atrium and have balconies that overlook the pool and lawn area. These rooms have a view of the stage and are ideal for room parties. None of these rooms have obstructed views due to trees. Rates start at $190.00 for a Single King or Two Queen Beds. Available for August 18th, 19th, & 22nd ONLY! |
Pool View &
These rooms are offered at a slightly higher rate due to their desirable location. These rooms are located in the east tower and have balconies facing onto the pool and lawn. These rooms will be behind the stage area so the balconies will not have a good view of entertainment. These rooms are recommended for performers who want easy access to backstage and for others who want easy access to the parking lot.

Golf Course ViewThese rooms are on the north side of the Tiki atrium closest to the back parking lot. The balconies of these rooms look out onto a scenic golf course and river walk. Rates start at $170.00 for a Single King or Two Queen Beds. Available for August 18th, 19th, & 22nd ONLY! |
Poolside RoomsThese rooms are part of the original hotel and are slightly smaller than the tower rooms. These lanai-style rooms are also great for room parties as they are located just up from the ground level on the south side of the pool and adjacent to the Jacuzzi. Rates start at $170.00 for a Single King or Two Queen Beds. Available for August 18th, 19th, & 22nd ONLY! |

DO NOT CALL the number on the hotel website (800) 972-2802. Please note: Tiki Oasis has blocked the entire hotel for Friday and Saturday. If you do not mention that you are booking into the Tiki Oasis Group the hotel cannot reserve you a room for those days. |
